The holidays are over. A new year has begun. There is no better time to think about your health and how to stay in shape. And IGNITE knows the perfect the place for that!
Come out and watch part of a youth and an adult class to see if this workout is right for you or you…r kids. Chat with Sensei Dave Phillips and get a coupon for a free introductory class. If you are sick of hitting the treadmill or pumping iron, come check out this fun environment where everyone can work out on their own level, while the group spirit of the class encourages you to go just a little bit farther than you thought you could. Shogun Martial Arts provides a modern and different approach to personal fitness through a fun mix of karate, muay thai kickboxing, grappling and self defense. What this means is that you’ll never get bored with this workout. Instructors do a great job of mixing things up – from warm ups to techniques to hands-on punch/kick combos. Master Hahn just got back from training in Thailand, so he is sure to bring back some new cool activities. Asah! |

ELECTION SURVEY: What Young Professionals want to know from 2011 Candidates
Become an active part of the candidates’ agendas. Take advantage of this opportunity.
http://www.surveymonkey.co
On November 8th, elections for Auburn city councilors and mayor as well as Cayuga County legislature are coming up. It is important for you as young professionals to be informed about the candidates’ agendas, so you can make an informed decision when it is time to go out and vote on Election Day to make your voices heard. IGNITE would like to help you with that.
As part of our IGNITE the Vote! 2011 campaign we reach out to you to compile a list of issues and topics that young professionals care about. In turn, we will share them with the candidates and give them the opportunity to respond. The results will be posted on our website, so you can compare the answers and make up your mind as to who you think would best serve our community. You can also share questions that you would like to have answered by candidates. A selection of those questions will be asked to them directly at the IGNITE Candidates Forum on October 4th.
Please take a few minutes to share your interests and thoughts.
